GZDOOM FRONTEND UPGRADE
For the strongest security and latest features, find out whether you can upgrade to macOS Catalina, the latest version of the Mac operating system. But For a network administrator these commands are extremely important to do debugging and troubleshooting. You should not use these commands anymore to do unencrypted management on switches. Apple, in their ultimate wisdom, have removed telnet and ftp client on macOS High Sierra. High Sierra might disappoint those looking for whizzy new features.
GZDOOM FRONTEND UPDATE
I don't believe one should subscribe to being plugin agnostic.Apple's MacOS High Sierra update offers lots of behind-the-scenes changes that should make the Apple's desktop OS easy to use. This gives you the ability to open tmux, open a file in vim, then split and run your program from terminal in the same view. What's even cooler is you can open up a tmux window, and split it into horizontal and vertical panes. Tmux allows you to setup virtual terminals (windows) that you can leave running programs in, detach, and open up additional virtual terminals to run more programs. Vim with tmux, or screen, is even better. Set nocompatible syntax on set ignorecase set ts=2 set autoindent set hlsearch set ruler set ttyfast set sm This is what I use, but some people get really fancy with it, you can just google.vimrc configs. I've been using it for basically everything since I was a sysadmin back in '99, and have been a front-end developer for the last 8 years or so and use it as my primary editor. Depending on your stack, you may want to enable syntax highlighting for a particular language, but a good.vimrc is all you really need to configure. I'd recommend it if you primarily work in one directory at a time, but try to get used to terminal vim first. As for macvim, it's basically the same but outside the terminal, and augmented with a few keyboard shortcuts that feel natural in osx. In all my projects I always load every source file in a buffer so I can emulate a fuzzy finder.

Make sure you cover vertical block editing, how to jump between html tags, and buffers. Your first step to learning vim is to open up your terminal and enter vimtutor. I use vim for everything and I've never found the need to get a plug-in. So, if anyone could point me to a guide, an article or something that could help me, I'd be very glad.:) Thanks! Learn the basics around vim before 'configurating' with any plug-ins. The thing I'd like is to know how to configure Vim (Macvim, Neovim?) or Emacs (Spacemacs?) properly in order to use it for front-end development.

I've only used Vim a few time to edit some config files in my terminal, but that's all. The thing is: I know nothing about Vim and Emacs. I work on macOS Sierra and I'd like to start using Vim or Emacs (it's not a war) in order to boost my productivity. I mainly work with HTML, CSS, Javascript, Php (Twig), Python and Node.js, and, until now, I've used Atom and Textmate as my main text editors (I've also used Sublime, Brackets and many more other editors in the past.).
